Goodbye Pippa x
Today was our last day together, my beautiful baby. I loved you so much and I tried my best for you. I am so grateful to have had you with me through life’s journey. Thank you for being the very, very best dog – my soul dog, forever. Thank you for loving me.
But now it is time for you to rest.
You stayed for over 15 years and we enjoyed some wonderful times together, and your total acceptance and love got me through some of the worst times too. But this last while has been so hard for you. You’re free now from the burden of your heart issues, and arthritis and the heavy weight of your lipomas. Please know, that I would have carried those for you if I could, and given you extra years from my own, but the best I could do was to let you go peacefully when you were just too tired to keep going.
Our home will be quiet and still without you here, but you will always be in my heart and remembered in the wonderful memories we made together.
Your sister Vivienne, granny Tricia, furry and human friends all loved you and your beautiful nature. You were such a special, brilliant wee beagle and we were so lucky to have known you. I hope you meet up with your beloved Hester, Molly, and Alfie and are able to run free like you have not been able to do for so long now.
And tomorrow I wake up without you. I can’t believe you are gone. This has been just the hardest thing to do today to say goodbye. I will always love you and hold you in my heart my beautiful baby. You are the goodest girl xx
